Meteor Records (1950s)

From Jack Jr. Black: METEOR RECORDS, was a subsidiary of Modern, RPM, and Flair Records in Los Angeles. Meteor Record division was located in Memphis, Tennessee. Lester Bihari formed Meteor Records in December of 1952. Lester was one of the four Bihari brothers. The label featured blues and rockabilly from around the Memphis, and the South. They were located at 1794 Chelsea Avenue, in Memphis.
